So this week my mom and I have been walking for about an hour everyday! We try to do it everyday at least, but since Monday my energy has increased! :D

Mom has a pedometer and she tries to walk until she gets up to 10,000 steps! And I walk and jog, alternating between them as I go because as I was running up an incline in an alleyway I realized that my left ankle couldn't quite take the pressure. However, I have to overcome that because my ankle needs more exercise! it's not the same and I have to keep it up!

Hopefully I can wake up early -- like around 8 a.m instead of 10 something to walk out. I eat a yogurt cup and stretch for about five minutes before walking to the park. The park is less than 5 minutes away and I can just walk around! It takes about 7 - 8 minutes to completely walk around the entire circumference of the park, so it's a good thing. :)

There are some sections that are hilly, so whenever I come across a hilly part, I start to job! :D That really gets my heart pumping, but I know I can't do it too much or else I'll injure my ankle.

So far I feel good!

On top of that, a good warmup for me is to do some easy belly-dancing routines: Snake Arms and isolations! Trying to regain that wonderful isolated hip and ripcage moves. :) Awesome! Awesome! It's a good way to warm up my triceps and chest because it requires a lot of muscle contraction in those areas. :) Wooyeah! My arms feel better already :) My body misses the dance exercise...

I know for the Chinese, we eat oranges and drink tea after a greasy meal.

Are there any other tips?

I like following this because it leaves are more digested feel in my stomach rather than me having to pop a Tums! T_T;; Booo!!

No eating or snacking!

Yes! Let's stop to snack, munch or sneak-in those evil bites! We should set up a speficic time when we shouldn't eat and let our stomach digest the foods we have eaten!

How about 8:00 p.m? Once it's 8:00 p.m we can't eat or snack unless we're drinking water or eating a fruit? :) yes?


**Update**
I think we should make this rule more flexible -- at least that coincides with the person's schedule!

Remember: Try not to eat three hours ahead of sleeping

It's icky thinking about sleeping with all that food in your stomach! it's good to digest and all, right? :) Right!

I'll try to post every now and then to keep this journal alive. :) Wooha! Let's keep this up! When I actually start my "diet" I'm going to set down my stats! :D I'm gonna eye a dress that I want to fit in... and work the fluff off! :D Wooha!

Decided to create this community to help myself get in shape and whatnot. Even if it's just a few days out of the week or a few hours out of the few week, burning some calories is better than burning no calories!

I'm going to use my mom's pedometer and see if I can walk 10,000 steps a day! :) Apparently that's all you need to walk! :) Not bad for those of us who enjoy long walks and such! :) They say you don't have to be a hardcore athelete and try to kill yourself when you're trying to start out... it's all about a slow adjustment, right? :)

No need to buther your body before it can burn anything =/

So let the fluff burning begin! :D
